along EuroVelo 9 – August 2025

💜 We're riding to raise funds for the Centrum Praw Kobiet (The Centre for Women’s Rights)
and to stand in solidarity with women affected by violence, discrimination, and inequality.

👭Wheels of Solidarity is a woman-led initiative focused on visibility, safety, and support. The ride highlights women’s experiences, but everyone who supports the cause is welcome to join for any part of the route, whether a single stage or the entire journey.

About me

My name is Ania, an experienced long-distance cyclist passionate about meaningful journeys. I’ve completed several EuroVelo routes and solo rides across Europe, embracing the spirit of adventure and connection.
This August, we’ll cycle 50–80 km a day and sleep in tents (preferably), so don't forget your camping gear!

Everyone who supports the cause is welcome to join — whether for a single stage or the full route — with a special invitation extended to women riders.

About Centrum Praw Kobiet

Centrum Praw Kobiet (The Centre for Women’s Rights) is a Polish nonprofit organisation that provides legal, psychological, and practical support to women facing violence, discrimination, and inequality. For over 30 years, they’ve been empowering women and advocating for systemic change.

Information for participants

👉 Wheels of Solidarity 2025 is a grassroots, open initiative — we ride together, but each participant takes part in the ride at their own risk and in the spirit of adventure.

👉 We plan to sleep at campsites, agritourism places, or on grounds provided by local municipalities or volunteer fire brigades (OSP) — in practice, a lot will depend on how many kilometers we cover each day and where we stop for the night.

👉 There is no single official “base camp” — we share information, try to stay together overnight, but everyone should be prepared for different options.

👉 What to bring:

tent or other camping gear

sleeping bag

mat / sleeping pad

headlamp or flashlight

openness to changes of plans and the spirit of adventure! 🚴‍♀️✨

👉 The ride takes place in regular traffic — please respect traffic rules and show mutual respect on the route.

👉 This is an open ride for everyone — anyone can join on any section.

👉 Wheels of Solidarity 2025 is a shared idea — we ride together, but everyone is responsible for themselves and their decisions.

👉 Core values: solidarity, freedom, community, joy of cycling, and supporting an important cause.
